My Mum Always Hits Me

Jake, aged 15

"My mum always hits me. Once she got a photo frame and whacked it on my head and my head was bleeding. This was recently and it still hurts. Since I was 7 my mum has been beating me up for no reason. When I do something good she always has to look at the bad side. She kicks me, sits on me, slaps me and leaves bruises on me. She's made me bleed many times. I'm really scared of her."

This kind of abuse is completely unacceptable and Jake's mother clearly needs support and counselling of here own. If you are suffering from abuse in this way from any member of your family or a person at school, please contact us and we will provide you with confidential support.
